Pink Is the Color of October

Costa DeVault supported the City of Orlando and XL106.7’s initiative to turn Central Florida pink last Friday. Mayor Buddy Dyer declared October 15, 2010 as “PinkTober Day,” and we sported our favorite pink apparel to show our support for an important cause that utilized grassroots marketing at its finest.
Breast cancer awareness campaigns range from educational websites to promotional pink ribbons and saucy Facebook campaigns. Local organizations and community leaders have taken a somber topic that impacts almost one in eight women and turned it into a viral, lively campaign to prevent, treat and cure cancer.
So, on “PinkTober Day” and everyday, Costa DeVault supports staying healthy and finding a cure for breast cancer.
